Naturopathy ?
Definition :
The set of practices aimed at helping the body heal itself through exclusively natural means .
Naturopathy is based on a theory according to which the vital force of the organism allows it to defend itself and heal spontaneously (see Larousse Medical).
The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes naturopathy as a traditional medicine , on par with Chinese medicine and Ayurveda.
Its purpose :
To stay healthy or to regain better health.
Its place in the world of health?
It complements modern medicine on two levels:
-
First level, through its preventative action : it aims to strengthen the body's vitality and self-healing abilities by acting on lifestyle to prevent the onset of diseases.
-
2nd level, by supporting the body in the fight against the disease and the possible side effects of medical treatments.
Why consult a naturopath ?
MA thousand and one reasons ! But if we had to identify just three :
1° Prevention is better than cure!
By understanding your body's specific needs, you can adopt healthy lifestyle habits that will make it stronger and more resistant to disease.
2° Because being healthy today... is easier said than done!
We hear and read recommendations for good health almost every day, but it's not always easy to implement them in our daily lives...
3° Because you have to be healthy to be beautiful!
A well-nourished body that is cleansed from the inside will be beautiful.
Your skin will be free of acne and blemishes and will wrinkle less quickly. Your dark circles will be less noticeable.
Your hair will not turn gray or fall out prematurely.
You will no longer have weight problems. You will not be underweight or overweight.
